The academic year commencing in April consists of three terms. The first and second terminal examinations will generally be held in the month of September and December and the final examination in the month of February/March. Besides these, unit tests will periodically be held and the progress reports of these examinations and tests will be given to the parents.
The promotion of a child does not depend merely on his/her marks in the final examination, but also his/her performance throughout the year. 30% of the marks of the terminal examination and 20% of unit tests will also be counted for promotion.
